Your Show on ORN

If you host an outdoor radio show—or you have a podcast that’s ready to evolve into a true radio program—Outdoor Radio Network may be a fit. ORN is built for broadcast-quality outdoor programming: fishing, hunting, conservation, paddlesports, outdoor travel, and more.

Why ORN

ORN is purpose-built for outdoor audiences and broadcast-grade programming. We prioritize shows that deliver consistent value, consistent pacing, and consistent production standards—because listeners expect professionalism from a radio network.

Dedicated Outdoor Focus

Outdoor-first programming—news, talk, and entertainment—around the topics your audience lives for.

Broadcast Environment

Shows built for scheduled listening, reliable delivery, and consistent segment structure.

Professional Standards

Clean audio, strong hosting, and content that represents the outdoors well—every episode.

What We’re Looking For

1) Established Outdoor Radio Shows

Shows already produced with broadcast pacing, consistent segments, and reliable delivery. If your program is already “radio-ready,” we want to hear it.

2) Select Podcasts (Radio-Ready Only)

Great podcasts can become great radio—when they can be adapted into a true radio format (structure, timing discipline, and production standards). If you’re willing to level up, we may be interested.

Radio Show vs Podcast

The difference is not “talent.” It’s the environment. Podcasting is an outstanding medium that has unlocked incredible creativity. A radio show, however, is built for scheduled programming, broader audience expectations, and consistent broadcast delivery.

Area Radio Show (ORN Standard) Podcast
Format & Timing Segment structure, pacing, consistent timing (“broadcast clock”). Flexible timing; format varies widely by creator and audience.
Delivery Discipline Reliable episode drops; predictable programming expectations. Delivery can be consistent, but standards are creator-defined.
Audio Standards Broadcast-grade levels, clean chain, minimal noise and clipping. Quality ranges from studio-grade to casual—depends on the show.
Public-Facing Role Hosts function as network-facing media, representing partners and audience expectations. Official Media credentials. Creators control tone and accountability; requirements vary by platform. No media credentialing.
What ORN Prioritizes Broadcast-ready structure, professionalism, and consistency. Considered when the podcast can adapt to radio standards.

Bottom line: ORN is a radio network. We will always favor broadcast-ready shows. If your podcast can meet those standards—or you want help getting there—we’re open to reviewing it.
